Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers follows the series of Crystal Chronicles role-playing games established on the Nintendo GameCube. So far, a pre-rendered trailer has been unveiled, showing the classic chocobo and airship world of Final Fantasy. At this time, it is uncertain if the game play will be structured like the real-time fighting featured in Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles (GC) or like the traditional Final Fantasy game featuring menu-based combat.

Are you getting tired of just reading about Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers? Well the good news is, you will actually be able to pick yourself up a copy before the year closes out. Square-Enix has confirmed that FFCC: The Crystal Bearers will see North American launch before the year's end. No specific date was given, but I'm guessing Square-Enix is going to go with a holiday release. No word on Euro release at this time.

IGN Impressions "The video was more meant to show off the art style being employed in the game and not actual gameplay, so we got a lot of shots of the lead character -- a blond haired bloke with goggles -- jumping around in cutscenes. But it was real-time, and it looked sharp and smooth, and it looked like the game's going to be in widescreen on the Nintendo Wii."
