Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is an online-focused first person shooter that lets players divide into two teams as they reenact the fictional human/Strogg war that serves as the basis for the famed Quake series. The game is set approximately 60 years in the future, as the alien Strogg suddenly invade Earth and the Global Defense Force must battle the invaders off the planet. Quake Wars focuses on teamwork, different classes, and infantry and vehicular combat. Certain unique features such as a online campaign mode makes it set to be a fun addition to the online-FPS genre.

We're excited to see that some four months after its #1 debut in the United States, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars is still falling up and down the NPD PC Top 10 sales charts. Most recently, ETQW claimed the #7 spot for the week of January 26, besting several competitors that hit the market more recently, including Crysis, Unreal Tournament 3, and The Orange Box.

Eurogamer review 8/10

Eurogamer - September 28, 2007

"It can't quite match the polish, presentation and beautifully conceived design of Valve's latest, but Quake Wars sets out to provide a totally different experience, and does so very well - with a set of well-designed, expansive levels and great vehicles being the stand-out factors. It's turning out to be a great month for online FPS gamers; and Enemy Territory is definitely another fight worth finishing."
