Chris Taylor's new RTS game, widely considered the spiritual sequel to the highly acclaimed Total Annihilation, hopes to revolutionize and bring back the RTS genre. The game features true tactics and strategy, allowing the player to zoom into all scopes of the battle. Supreme Commander promises to do away with the traditional rock, paper, scissors combat and instead enables players to build armies of massive scale with hundrerds of units and some ultimately superior over others. The scope of Supreme Commander is so large that players can face simultaneous land, air, and water battles on different parts of the map. The game was designed with multi-core processors and multi-monitor systems in mind.
