Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is a new game based on the popular anime series, "Naruto," but unlike previous games, Naruto: Uzumaki Chronicles is an action game and not a fighting game. Players take the role of Naruto, a young ninja, in a new storyline involving an evil plot against his home, Hidden Leaf Village. Players will tackle missions for the villagers, often involving lots of combat. Naruto will encounter friendly characters who will join him in his adventures. Consistent with Naruto lore, players can use Naruto's shadow clones, transform into a scantily clad woman, and unleash the power of the nine-tailed fox. Character development in the game relies on collecting virtue orbs from defeated enemies and trading them for skill chips to improve Naruto's skills or give him new abilities.

It came out in August of 2005 and sold a total of 191,077.
http://geimin.net/da/05/rank.php (68th place in terms of software sales for 2005.)
However, this number only reflects sales up to the end of 2005.
I couldn't find anything for 2006.
Assuming that they sold about half of what they did in 2005, you get a total sales of about 275,000, but I believe it's more likely to be higher, considering that North America sold about 275,000 in less time.
If you add the upcoming sales in Europe, the current sales forcast of 655K is likely to be surpassed, as difficult as that may be to believe.
As long as these numbers are accurate though, I can't see how it won't sell 655K.
It's looking more and more tempting to buy this...
