Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be the fourth installment in the Call of Duty video game series. A trailer has been released showing scenes set in a modern day warfare environment, echoing the rumors over the past year. The action looks even more intense than its predecessors, while the cinematography seems to have been elevated to an even higher level. Infinity Ward, makers of the acclaimed Call of Duty 2 are responsible for the development of CoD4.

Nollenberger Capital Partners analyst Todd Greenwald is predicting big things for Activision's new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, going as far as to suggest that it may outsell Halo 3.
"Call of Duty 4, which was released two days ago by Activision, appears to be in extremely high demand and is sold out across the board.

Call of Duty 4 map pack comes to PSN late April

Infinity Ward' Fourzerotwo has announced on his blog that the Call of Duty 4 Variety Map Pack is coming to the PlayStation 3 approximately 21 days after the Xbox Live release. Given the 360 pack is expected April 3 or 4, that puts the PS3 release on or near Thursday, April 24.
PlayStation 3 owners will pay the same $10 price for the four maps: Creek, Broadcast, Chinatown and Killhouse.

1@Joe80, Playstationlifestyle is a blog...they rarely do any real reporting. If you look at the date of the psls entry it is April 4th...this quote started showing up in blogs on March 28.
