Children of Mana is the latest installment of the Seiken Densetsu series (or better known
outside of Japan as sequels of the Secret of Mana (SNES)). This game is developed specifically for DS.
Unlike its predecessors, Children of Mana is dungeon-focused. Players take quests from villagers that require them to enter a dungeon (simply by selecting one on the map). To traverse a dungeon, players will have to explore the floor to find a Mana Egg and then place it on a "pillar of light." This transports the player to the next floor. This exploration process continues until the player arrives at a final floor to battle the boss.
The game features a real-time battle system similar to past games of the series. All characters can now use any of the four weapons available in the game. Children of Mana also features a multiplayer mode that allows 4 players to play in co-op or competitive modes.

4I think most people have forgotten or ignored this stock. I think it is highly overvalued according to Alpha's numbers. This is twice what it should be as the US numbers have barely made a scratch.

5The vgcharts.org numbers for Children of Mana were only 51,500 copies in November. The game sold 304,250 copies in Japan through 12/09/06 (http://www.vgcharts.org/japgamewk.php?name=Seiken+Densetsu+DS%3A+Children+Of+Mana). That is after 9 months. I don't think the US will come close to the Japan numbers so I would put a "Sell" on this stock.[ Guru ] [ Level 21 ] [ Rank: 173 ]
