Just after one year, the Call of Duty series returns--this time depicting the Normandy Breakout (liberation of Paris). Players can take the roles of American, British, Canadian, and Polish soldiers in this campaign. Call of Duty 3 features new hand-to-hand combat where soldiers can disarm each other. The player can now choose multiple paths to accomplishing a mission, such as fighting head-on or flanking the enemy forces. New destructible environments enables players to destroy hideouts to force opponents into the open.
The multiplayer mode is now more class-based. However, the classes only affect your initial weapons as you can pick up weapons from fallen soldiers later. Classes also have certain special abilities--such as binoculars for the scouts to call an artillery strike. The multiplayer also now features vehicles such as tanks, jeeps, and motorcycles with sidecars. Your character will also gain rank through a battle that will improve your abilities.
This is the first edition of Call of Duty to be console only and the first edition to appear on PS2. No PC version is planned.

5It seems like this game may have been lost in the shuffle, but it still looks like this game should be around at least 1.2 million sales judging by the fact that sales of CoD3 in the US sit around 675,204 and adding on PAL regions, which as stated before usually equal or surpass US CoD sales, this game should be around 1.2 million, possible 1.4 if CoD3 continues to sell well in the US (I expect it to top out at around a little over 700,000 in the US). This stock is undervalued at the current price.

2This game should continue to climb to around 1.2 million copies. I strongly believe that PAL regions will be able to sell nearly as many copies as the US has. Considering that in the US CoD3 has sold 639,750 and usually PAL regions match or are a little under the US version, this game should sell at least 1 million copies, if not a little higher.

4I have to agree with Pwn3d on this one, the US sales remain strong.
However I think the real kicker on this one is Europe and the rest of the world. International sales of Call of Duty nearly match the US sales, especially for the PS2 where the ratio is 1 to 1. VG charts has not yet reported any international numbers for this title but based on the historical figures for previous CoD titles they should be similar to the US sales. Previous PS2 titles have sold 2.73 million for CoD 1, and 1.74 million for CoD 2. I don't expect this one to go as high but it should do signifigantly more than the current estimate of 794,000.
Thanks Pwn3d for bringing this overlooked gem too my attention again. I believe this stock should go much higher and I am long shares of Call of Duty 3(PS2)
