As it stands right now, COD:WaW is a visually impressive showpiece for Wii, and while the control works, it could be even faster, and even tighter. The flamethrower is a great addition, and the new portable heavy machine gun was in full effect, and a blast to use as well. it's obvious Activision is upping its game on Wii, as the COD4 engine is alive and well on Nintendo's system.

3@apujanata,Yea i think the fact its on the wii it will definatly pass 1million. Id say it could even hit 3million as there is alot of people on wii looking for a shooting game.BTW wii is around 30milion right now and is still selling well it has the potential to hit the 35million mark this christmas. I think in a crazy opinion it could even hit 4million.

2In my opinion, there is a slight probability that this game will be doing better than my own prediction (1.4 - 2.4) for the following reasons :
- there is less competition on Wii for FPS games, compared to PS3 and X360.
- proven FPS potential (games with relatively good sales #) : COD 3 (good # for a game that was several months late compared to HD version), RE4 (good # for a game that are several years late compared to PS2 version and GC version), Metroid Prime 3 (almost as good as Metroid Prime 1, probably already exceeded MP1 sales # by now).
- big userbase (even though the majority of the userbase is not hardcore).
In short, Wii version will appeal to those who didn't have X360 nor PS3, or those multi-platform owner that appreciate Wii-mote capabilities that made FPS game more easy and faster and fun on Wii (even though the graphic are significantly worse).
Having said that, the potential is only slim (< 10% IMO), so I am not willing to invest more in it at it's current price (180.57 DKP).
