Set to debut in Winter 2008, Dark Void is an action video game being developed by Airtight Studios and published by Capcom.

Its a third Person Shooter with a mix of on foot action and mid-air fights, a good approximation could be Capcom´s own Lost Planet. The antagonistic force in this game is represented by an alien race called "The Watchers" that humanity had previously defeated. Dark Void will be Airtight's first project, but the studio includes several key members of the now-defunct FASA Studios team, which worked on the acclaimed Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge for the original Xbox. For more information on Airtight games please check their official website: http://www.airtightgames.com/

As is the norm this days besides the single player campaign the the game will feature a multiplayer mode as well. This is a multi platform release set to debut on PS3, Xbox360 and the PC.

Capcom have announced that action game, Dark Void, has been been delayed until Q1 2010 due to a "crowded fall game season". Capcom's Senior Director, Chris Kramer had this to say on the matter: "Dark Void is moving into Capcom's fiscal Q4 in order to get the game out of the crowded fall game season and to allow the development team more time to polish and enhance the game experience"
