Eragon is based on the upcoming Eragon movie and the popular fantasy novel. This is an adventure game in a fantasy world that features aerial combat on dragons. The player takes the role of Eragon, the hero in the film and novel. Some levels will have Eragon fighting on foot in hand-to-hand combat. In other levels, Eragon will be flying on the back of Saphira, his dragon. Over the course of the game, Saphira will mature and gain additional abilities. The game is heavily combat-based, but also features stealth and puzzle gameplay. The game is largely the same on the PC, Xbox, and PS2.

Also see Eragon (Xbox 360), Eragon (PS2), and Eragon (PC).

4.4/10: Eragon relies entirely on tedious, unenthusiastic gameplay that's way too shallow to sustain interest for more than a few minutes.
