I agree no need to panic yet but I would imagine the agreement with NPD is probably one way. Also if they are not going to make the information public then it would logically seem to follow that even if the Simexchange was still able to obtain the numbers they would not be able to publish them.
I would question the motives of the NPD and suggest that they probably no longer want the numbers being freely compared, probably because we are doing a reasonably good job between ourselves and sites like the VGC. Aferall why pay NPD prices if you can get numbers with the same or better margins of error for free.
If this does turn out to affect the TSE then I am sure we can dream up something to replace it.
