@kspraydad, Sorry, but calculation that rough is a bad idea. I total ignores shopping seasons. The 360 will most likely hit 16 Millions sold (WW), in two years (and a month). If you calculate that on 5 years (more likely longer in the US, because it is has a good live there) you come to 40 Million sold. But we are early in the life span, and given that the 360 has a good stand at winning the hi def war against Sony, 60 Million isn't out of the question. The market tends to support the Platforms more with the better library, and the better library gets to the winning platforms. Both things relay on each other.
Given the difference between the Wii and the 360 I wouldn't say they competing so much against each other (take the other sales away).
Or I put it in this words: If Sony doesn't have a good Christmas this year, third party will actually begin to drop support of the PS3 even more, because the install base is too small, thats what happened with N64 and GC. If the third party support shrinks, so does the goods game come out, and so does the sales of the platform.
