@welshbloke, I remember over the past years people saying such and such title should sell better on PS3 but the difference was very big in favor of 360.
Did anyone look at the graphs in the article? It clearly shows games that used to sell more on 360, selling more on PS3. Is that not more than one incident?
@deftangel, I've repeatedly stated what I thought the article shows, which is different from all the quotes within the article. It's very clear that some games will sell better on 360 and in the future possibly PS3 as users of each don't have identical tastes. The article's data clearly implies that not all games will sell better on 1 platform or the other.
The fact that the Arcade model could've got more casuals could mean that they are less likely to buy as many games, which could be one out of many reasons for differences in sales.
It doesn't tell you what will happen, but it does show what may be possible, it shows its more possible than people may have thought a year or two ago.
