I don't think the 3DS market will be impacted by this. It's not a replacement for a portable system despite the controller's appearance. I am curious about whether people find this new controller and improved graphics compelling enough to switch over early on. We already saw that with the 3DS the up sell was difficult and hasn't gone as well as Nintendo had hoped. I'm sure the die hard Nintendo fans will get it right away, but I'm not sure the casual gamers will find it compelling enough to replace their Wii.
