@koshbaby, You're absolutely correct. I have a PS3 and let me tell you, even if the Wii ends up a fad, I still believe that it will sell more units than either the PS3 or 360. Why wouldn't it? It's cheap and parents love that. Personally I can get all the games I want on a PS3 and on my PC (except Zelda). I still understand that for most (casual) gamers, the Wii is all they need. To each his own.
I was actually really into the idea of the Wii back when it was the Revolution. The Virtual Console especially sounded awesome until they announced both the price points and Square publicly has stated that they won't do downloads because they don't feel that Japan is ready for it. We will see though, I'll probably end up getting one someday in it's life cycle. I mean come on, how cheap will it be towards the end of this generation.
