We were way too bullish in January and I think we are being the same way in February, especially since SSBB is out in March. I am thinking Feb might be the "calm before the storm".
Yea, maybe consumers might be buying in advance, but that would be giving too much credit the foresight of consumers.

well, all i want to say is that wii is one of the best consoles made so far, it doesnt have such a good grafics but it gives you the immpression of gamimg much better theb other consoles.
Go Nintendo posted a link to Japanese sales so far and counted up how many were 3rd party.
Over 15 million games have been sold for the Wii so far, and just over 3 million were 3rd party games (18 first party games).
By comparison, the PS3 has sold just under 4 million games, with about 2.5 million being 3rd party (14 first party games). The 360 has sold about 2.4 million games, 1.6 million being 3rd party 17 first party games).
You have to explain your point more often, because people know faster it is you that they play against. Thats because of your unique position (DKP wise). I understand why you want to do your things in "silence". Because as fast as somebody knows he "plays" against you, he stops (if he has senses) because no one (alone) can stand against you. And the good players only choose fights they can win :) I don't understand why you think the "crowd" is more bearish than before, just looking at the top25. The top25 where always kind of bears. I know that because I often looked at their position in my beginnings. That just didn't change that much. Maybe only that some heavy bears (like me) went up to the top25 but we are there, because we earned it, aren't we?
--- @all I don't think we have such a big problem on SE and the time trust es fine. I don't understand where the people see the problem on the Wii GLS? Its not the crowd keeping that thing up. If you would succeed in putting it down under 90 DKP even I would take some shares, and I am known as bear.
The market is at the moment at all so bullish, because the typical bulls have a lot of money. Thats because the typical bears gave it to them by overreaction (I did for example). Things will cool down and go in the other direction again. As zukaus said, it is just normal for a stock market to show such a behavior. And if it would not be there, it would be suspicious.
No there is not a constant flow of money into the market. The Market maker takes money from the money again. Also is mis pricing in futures takes away money from the market. I don't know if there is a stats how much money is on SE, but it would be useful imho. Maybe it gets implemented.
There is also that not all money "active". If you look at the community league, you see that the average activity is rather low. And there are people under 1 Million DKP.

Maybe I repeat my thoughts simple: The market is bullish, because the bears overreacted. They did that in Nov and Dec. and it was most costly for them. That should change again, the NPD future are a good way to shift money pretty fast to the other side, if the bulls overreact. Thats normal behavior for a stock market, everything is fine. No need to "change" the rules.
I just wanted to clarify things, to ensure there is no miscommunication. As long as you and I have the same understanding, all if good.
I think the problem with my GLS observation is because I focus on the "famous" or "well-known" game, which might have lots of people investing in them. You probably look at all kind of stocks, so you can get good price bargain.
Example : I don't like man-hunt, but I have bought just 1 share of them to made it easier to track their price. From the time I purchase it at 10.24 price point (about one or two months ago), it has increase to 15.20 (48% increase). If I have invested fully in this stock, I would have been rewarded with very big profit.
Since I don't have any experience in this kind of game (Man-hunt series), I don't have any expectation. IMO, the price is too high, but without having any data to back my feeling, I don't dare to commit fully to them (either in long position or short position).
I did not mean to imply that you were the part of the crowd who think I trade irrationaly or can just throw my money and do whatever I feel like. If I was unclear I apologize.
As for the GLS market let's just say your opinion differs from mine and I believe there is great opportunity in GLS stocks. Perhaps we monitor different stocks.
