Assuming that the PREORDER split matches the split for first month's sales. I've no idea how accurate an indicator of the platform split preorders are.
My guess is that if we accept the folk-wisdom that hardcore shooter fans gravitate towards the 360, it might be reasonable to expect preorders to favour the 360 more than post-launch sales.
Question for the community...every bit of US based news i've heard on MW2 preorders have an approx 66 vs 33% split in favour of the Xbox for initial sales.
If this holds true the PS3 future is either severly undervalued or the Xbox is overvalued.
I'm leaning towards the PS3 needing about a 20DKP jump.
The IPO for Modern Warfare 2 (Xbox 360) has been rolled back due to an erroneous IPO price. We apologize for the inconvenience. The GLS stock will IPO on July 6 at 850 DKP.
@PhilHarrision, When I and -The Ray- submitted Modern Warfare 2 it was still under the name Call of Duty 6. KultofCows will need to change the name, SE users cannot.
This game has already been submitted here, submitted back on Sept 15th under the title Call of Duty 6 for 360, and later submitted on Sept 17th for PS3 as well here.
