From my experience I would say no. I had a little trawl around and although it is possible it would not of worked for me as it involved deleting the profile.
The problem is the save information is linked to the gamer profile to prevent Achievements from being poached.
@Joe80, I played mostly RPG and adventure in the 80's & 90's. Then I became more SRPG (Strategy RPG, think Fire Emblem or FF Tactics) oriented in 00's.
I don't play driving games (except Mario Kart), fighting games (except SSBB), FPS games (except RE4 and some other on rails shooters game).
The internet bandwidth factor is a big factor why I didn't play more online games. I used to play Ragnarok Online, but stopped after 1 year (and decided not to play WoW, AoC and other MMO games).
@vGInfidel, I don't think I am casual, since I played game non-stop since 1980's (university) till now.
@Welshbloke, Is there anyway to move a save game from one profile to another (within the same 360, or to another 360), without using Memory Card ? My friend have Elite, so he didn't have Memory Card, and he would like to move some save game around.
There are also some Wii Games that are annoying, in which we can not copy the save game to other Wii. Games like SSBB, Wii Fit. Since my house have 2 Wii, it is a hassle.
According to a recent report from GamerBytes, who dug up the sales figures of a number of XNA titles, this couldn't be further from the truth -- the combined sales total of the 24 titles they tracked was a mere 23,907 purchases, with an underwhelming conversion rate (ratio of people who purchase a game to total demo downloads) of just 7.1 percent.
Odd about your model being noisy. I bought a new Arcade just before Christmas, it is not the latest model with the memory and NXE on the chip. It Soooo quiet I am very jealous.
I purchased an Arcade because I was not expecting to use any other functionality. No Gold, HDD although it is networked (mainly because I cannot pass an Ethernet port without making it live). To be honest it is an absolute joy with just enough memory supplied that it has not been an issue. The only problem we have is my boy got further on Kameo downstairs and I could not transfer the save to his which was annoying.
@vGInfidel, I'd expect them to be mostly on Wii than multiple console owners. Not just that, but many casual gamers are buying XBLA games, some DLC, and using online features, though yes lower use than core.
I don't think of apujanata as casual so it felt odd to hear he won't use any of those features.
Possibly not as odd as you might think, given the rise to dominance of the Wii this generation, casual family orientated gamers would seem to be very prevelant.
