LittleBigPlanet is now fundamentally complete, in pre-alpha bug-testing and due for a closed beta trial in early summer for some final tweaking. After that, the real work begins – ours. That might seem glib, even a little like an advertising line (something similar will doubtless market the title) but it’s fundamental to any assessment of the game that hopes to play bridesmaid to the next level of user-generated content on home consoles.
Asked about Sony's plans for the Media Molecule game, marketing man Nick Robinson - a senior product manager at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - confirmed the title will be released in September on Blu-ray disc only.
"In the latest Edge magazine, it's been revealed that in addition to the emotions and such your sackboy (and sackgirl) can perform, there are plans to lip-synch voice chat. That is to say, the characters will move their mouths in roughly the same way you do (even if not, it's still cool). Down the line, expect stuff like voice filters, too. Keep on going lstormy. I didn't try to imply you said anything, thats just the meaning I got from what you were saying. Don't like it fine? But seriously are you that offended by the word? I think you need to lighten up. I can turn on the TV and hear 'redneck' uttered on any number of channels. What would Jeff Foxworthy say?
Many of the people I run into here have an inflated view of their own self worth, comprehension and their opinions. I'm not really sure why that is, but it might have something to do with Smash Brothers stocks. :?
Also, the number of people that own HDTVs will never reach 100% *Never said it would reach 100%. There you go again, being a total wad. Like no shit, there are people out there who don't even have a television. Why are we even talking about them!?
"Many people, if not the majority, fit into the category of uninformed about HDTV and the related HD sources such as Blu-Ray movies - various media outlets large and small have highlighted this fact and manufacturers have also highlighted this fact. Also, I never said they were unwilling to do the "proper research." " *So what are they uninformed or uninterested? *If they are uninterested wouldn't they get informed and make an intelligent choice? Your entire platform seems to be based on this idea that people will remain uninformed, which must mean they are uninterested.
Basically you have +5 people who are 'rednecks', can't read, or really don't possibly think this could go either way.
That tells me that this place is a joke. You'll be happy to know I'm gone for good. Thanks for all the learning about stocks and futures, but honestly, in all corners of the internet I don't believe I've met a more pompous, self-righteous, indignant and generally close-minded group. And fucking did my time on somethingawful.com.
KoC, Dazer and a few others I'm too livid to list, thanks for the good times and insightful debate.

I think it has a lot more to do with Downloads being a direct threat to their Blu-Ray business.
