LittleBigReleaseDates! We've received a press release stating that LittleBigPlanet will be released in the UK on October 24th. We're not sure whether the rest of Europe will be receiving it on the 29th or not, but the UK will definitely be able to get their hands on the game five days ahead of the date announced at Leipzig. If you want it before then, however, you'll need to be on the other side of the Atlantic.
@vGInfidel, i usually don't go into posting a lot on the forums as i know these discussion never make one to change his/her opinion, they just make one more hardened on his/her opinion even if he/she is wrong... i have told you my opinion and i have heard your opinion and i respect it.. For me Spore is a gr8 game and Civilization is one of the few game on which i have wasted lot of time.. so if the producer of such a game is appreciating something than i sure believe i need to check it out.. Anyway as i said i m not trying to convert you to my opinion and i m sorry if posting this bothered you..
Im certain that the majority of SE users interested in trading the stock already know that it is recieving alot of hype and that it could turn out well to Sony. This is of no real news and the producer of Spore saying it is almost the same as me saying it, i.e her opinions arent above anyone else's.
@vGInfidel, That the game is getting along a very strong hype and if the idea is implemented correctly then it sure is a jackpot for Sony and media molecule.
So what game is Caryl Shaw, Spore's producer, most looking forward to?
"I'm really interested in LittleBigPlanet, and I think the rest of the team is, too," she said with genuine excitement in her voice. "I really want to see their tool set and how easy it is to share [content] with other people. There's huge potential there if they do it right."
@apujanata, I doubt the chance to see the manual a couple of months in advance is going to convince anyone who is on the fence. This will be most interesting to people who are already fans.
@noobie, I don't understand the downbid on this article. I think this manual is part of promotion for LBP. People who are on the fence can download the manual, and see whether the game play mechanics / world of sackboy are interesting enough to warrant a buy. Something like a demo, but not really a demo (IMO).
This is odd. The LittleBigPlanet manual is now available here, at what appears to be an official SCEA URL.
Take a look. It definitely is what it’s supposed to be. It’s the game out in nearly two months?
