Not sure if I believe him myself. Now if he said not as well then maybe I believe him although I am not sure what about the PS3 would cause a problem for something such as AI.
...Ubisoft had already said that Splinter Cell: Conviction would not be possible on the PS3 as it was built from ground up with the 360 archtecture in mind. That been said, The same developers have already said, Naruto: Rise of the Ninja will not be possible on any other console as well, sounds logical since it was built up from the ground for the 360 as well...
July 24, 2007 - Buried in its fiscal first quarter 2007-2008 financial results, Ubisoft has announced it has delayed the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction until the company's fourth quarter, which is January-March 2008. Originally expected to ship this November, the game's absence at E3 last week gave us a hint that we might not see Sam Fisher this year.
The new Sam Fisher will be a stark contrast to the man we've come to recognize so universally just by the sound of his gadgets powering up. Without his tools and mask to hide behind, Sam is going to step into the limelight and show off just what he can do.
UbiSoft doesn't want you to feel like you're playing one of the Splinter Cell games of the past when you boot up Splinter Cell Conviction this holiday season.
