THQ Announces $1B In Nickelodeon Sales

"Publisher THQ has formally announced that its partnership with kids TV network Nickelodeon has surpassed $1 billion in sales and over 50 million units sold, as it announces its 2008 Nick slate will include Naked Brothers Band, Tak and, most notably, a new Drawn To Life featuring Spongebob Squarepants."

THQ expands casual games portfolio

THQ has announced the acquisition of the Elephant Entertainment casual and online games business in conjunction with an exclusive, worldwide retail publishing agreement with Oberon Media. THQ plans to launch more than 20 new casual and online games on multiple platforms in 2008 under the Elephant Entertainment brand name.
