Electronic Arts today announced that Fight Night Round 4 is now in development by EA Canada. The boxing sequel will feature a re-written gameplay engine, allowing for inside fighting and new boxing styles. A new physics engine will allow for missed punches, glancing blows, and other unexpected animations.

360 Version Of Fight Night Round 4 Freezing Up

It’s been reported that Xbox 360 version of EA Sports’ Fight Night Round 4 is freezing at the game’s loading screen. According to EA Sports, the freezing issue could possibly be related to custom soundtrack files or Fight Night Round 4 demo files saved on Xbox 360 owner’s hard drives, EA Sports Community Manager has posted a thread with various solutions on EA Sports forum which has helped many gamers to get their game back on.

Drama is where EA has decided to focus their efforts this year on their very dominant boxing franchise, Fight Night. In their fifth iteration Champion, they’re actually going for all-out glory and trying to bring the impactful narrative aspects of the sport that filmmakers have relied upon for years to players at home, and hoping to capture new interest in a dying fan base. But is it a decisive blow, or a whiffed right hook?
