IGN: Super Mario Galaxy 2 "Masterful", Perfect 10

IGN Reviews - May 21, 2010

IGN Gives Super Mario Galaxy a perfect 10. "This is the absolute pinnacle of Mario gameplay: everything that makes a Mario game so incredibly fun is represented here. Both in 2D and 3D. Nintendo's returned to its first Wii Mario game to give it a second go: there is so much creativity, variety and challenge poured into this sequel. 2007 Super Mario Galaxy was brilliant, but 2010's Super Mario Galaxy 2 is absolutely amazing."

Nintendo announced New Super Mario Bros. Wii just a month and a half ago at E3. They showed us the characters that were playable when they were demonstrating it. Characters that were used were Mario, Luigi, and two toads. Sadly to know for some, of what Shigeru Miyamoto provided in Nintendo Power, he stated a brief "that's it" response when he was asked if any more additional characters were going to be playable that wasn't revealed in the videos and screenshots.
