The latest issue of Euro mag NGamer has a rumor that both Animal Crossing Wii and Punch-Out!! Wii will be revealed at next week's E3. The mag states (via N-Europe) that Animal Crossing Wii has been done for a while and, although not an MMO, uses Wi-Fi sharing. Punch-Out!! Wii can allegedly use the Wii Fit Balance Board for dodging as an option, while the rest of the gameplay will be similar to Wii Sports boxing or Wii Fit's Rhythm Boxing.

If you're a Nintendo fan, you should know the development studio Camelot Software Planning. The Japanese videogame maker has created a number of hits throughout the years, from Mario Golf and Mario Tennis to Shining Force and Golden Sun. Now, it's just wrapped up the American version of We Love Golf, which looks to be Wii's defining golf game. We recently sat down with Camelot heads Hiroyuki and Shugo Takahashi, two brothers well-versed in the arts of both making games and working with Nintendo.

From September 1st Nintendo Australia will be officially taking over product distribution and advertisement in the New Zealan. If you have not been following, Nintendo has had a rough trot in New Zealand with their most recent distributor going broke. This, of course, followed years of neglect for Nintendo products in the country which has led to New Zealand being one of only a few country in the world where the Wii has not done as well.

Big Publishers shift Focus from Sony to Nintendo

Kotaku - June 25, 2007

Submitted by pilias_simber (122) at 9:26AM PST on June 25, 2007

Japanese economic news source Nikkei.Net is reporting what most of us already know: big third party publishers are shifting their focus from Sony Computer Entertainment to Nintendo Co., Ltd. With the DS and the Wii doing major business, this shift should not come as a surprise. The article points out that Bandai Namco and Sega have doubled the amount of Nintendo-geared software during fiscal 2007 compared to the previous year. Likewise, Capcom has slated more games for Nintendo than for Sony. Though, companies haven't ditched the PLAYSTATION 3 by any means and are developing big games for SCE. Lower than expected PS3 sales and high development costs are just a deterrent, but things could change. Eventually, even!
