There is a chance that Alan Wake may indeed surpass Crysis in graphical fidelity. If it does, this speaks volumes about the graphics power of the 360.

IGN Preview "I'm not fully convinced that words describe the beauty, atmosphere, and stunningly scary tone that Remedy was able to achieve in that short demo, but suffice to say, it did. Alan Wake is now firmly on my must-have list"

Xbox 360’s Alan Wake: Half a million sales

PR News - June 30, 2010

Submitted by Zex_M19 (110) at 8:24AM PST on June 30, 2010

Microsoft’s Xbox 360 game Alan Wake has been on the market for six weeks now and has reached half a million in sales – not bad for a game that does not have the same hype as Call of Duty or the Halo series. At the last count more than 26,000 copies were shifted in the week leading up to June 19, 2010.

Xbox 360 exclusive psychological action thriller Alan Wake is hitting Spring 2010, telling the story of a bestselling author's battle with writer's block. Obviously, that battle gets a little more interesting when shotguns are involved.

Fabulous Nex-Gen Graphics!

IGN Preview - October 15, 2007

Submitted by djhellboy87 (882) at 8:42PM PST on October 15, 2007

So far this game looks amazing! This is one of those games where you're not so interested and it doesn't have much attention, but after a few showings it just impresses the crap out of everyone. I'm impressed with how Remedy has taken this game to the multithreading level. Now next-gen hardware will truely be utilized and those dual-cores and soon-to-come quad-cores will actually be used. Definitely a blockbuster after from the developers of Max Payne!

Alan Wake team may continue elongated dev times

Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment is unfazed by criticisms of long development times, and has hinted that it will take just as long on its next project if necessary. Remedy has in recent times been subjected to criticisms for taking noticeably prolonged amounts of time developing its most recent title, Alan Wake.
