Firmware 4.05 Adds TV & Movie Download Support

IGN - July 14, 2008

Submitted by Animate (241) at 9:53PM PST on July 14, 2008

Namely, firmware 4.05 adds "support for PlayStation Store Movies and TV video service." Go ahead; read that again. PlayStation Store movies and TV. We can barely believe it ourselves. Of course, these often rumored features haven't been announced by Sony, but tomorrow is set to bring the company's E3 press conference and a slew of announcements.

Hackers believe third generation PSP is coming

PSPFanboy - December 19, 2007

This isn't all too surprising. Sony has revised its hardware a number of times. For example, the PS2 received a number of facelifts in its lifespan so far. If anything, the presence of this new file may suggest that Sony is simply considering a new revision of the PSP. Don't expect anything to come to fruition any time soon, however.

Remote Play: High Stakes Poker

Loo-Ninja - November 29, 2007

More excellent news about the integration of PSP with PS3. High Stakes Poker (online PSN poker game) is now playable anywhere you have WiFi on your PSP! High Stakes Poker for the PS3 recently put out a PSP remote play patch, which allows you to take this title on the road. This is a great step for both the game and the remote play, they need to do monthly updates to add remote play to games, this would definitely set the PS3 apart from the competition.
