Ken Levine Still Involved In BioShock 2

Kotaku - March 11, 2008

Submitted by lstormy10 (294) at 5:38PM PST on March 11, 2008

"With BioShock 2 in the hands of 2K Marin, and no longer at 2K Boston and 2K Australia, many of us were left wondering if designer and BioShock face Ken Levine would be working on the title. It would appear that he will be, in some capacity, at least, according to Take-Two CEO Ben Feder. He said today that Levine is 'a terrific asset to the company and a brilliant game developer' and confirmed, in a roundabout way, that he'd be involved."

Bioshock Could See Upwards Of Five Sequels, Story Willing

Kotaku - January 7, 2009

Submitted by necron101 (15) at 9:42PM PST on January 7, 2009

While wary of "cashing in" on the franchise, Global President of 2K Christoph Hartmann suggests that Bioshock could follow the Star Wars saga, generating sequels as long as the story holds out. Now of course he isn't guaranteeing five more Bioshock games, but Hartmann says that if the innovation is there and the storyline is strong, they would keep telling the Bioshock story until it's done.

Submitted by soupsoup (237) at 7:10AM PST on June 18, 2009

Strauss Zelnick, chairman of Take-Two Interactive, has revealed that the company is hoping for sales of its forthcoming BioShock 2 title to hit 5 million. That would represent a 67 per cent increase on the original game's 3 million units, and could be enough to give the company a boost in a non-Grand Theft Auto release year.

BioShock 2 Doing All Three Platforms At Once

kotaku - March 20, 2009

Submitted by felipedmoreira (378) at 4:11PM PST on March 20, 2009

Rather than the staggered release of the first BioShock, 2K plans on a simultaneous release across all three platforms for BioShock 2. Speaking to CVG, a 2K spokesperson has confirmed that the plan is to release BioShock 2 on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 at the same time. This is great news for PlayStation 3 owners, who had to wait nearly a year for the original game to show up after the PC and Xbox 360 versions were released.

eyewitness accounts of "thin" figures with feet smaller than a human male's appear to be contradictory. As a result, theories about "Big Sisters" and "Little Daddies" began to bubble up--rumors that 2K Games has steadfastly declined to comment on. "Don't believe everything you read," one rep told GameSpot.
