This is definitely a great sign. It's nice that MS is finally stepping up (a year and a half late however) and moving to protect gamers from their defective product. The Ring of Death had always been in the back of my mind when considering a 360, but this helps...I'm still hoping that they'll have a cooler running and quieter system sometime this year though. I think that will affect sales a lot more than a longer warranty. I really don't see this affecting sales that much.

Finally Microsft have done the right thing... Xbox sales will probably improve now... :)

Now all we need is a $100 pricecut, and Xbox360 selling like hotcakes!
