Nintendo announced a free Wii Remote Jacket for every Wii owner. The Wii Remote jacket is a silicon-based accessory that covers the controller, thus providing better gripping and a bit more cushioning for longer game sessions. This is Nintendo's second controller accessory revision. The first was to replace the Wii Remote's cord with a stronger cord since strong-willed gamers were breaking through the cords.
