Playing games on a mobile phone is about as enjoyable as untangling a pair of headphones when you're stuck in the middle of a train during rush hour. The quality of titles available is very low, and today's phones simply aren't designed for fast, reliable button pressing. Don't get me wrong -- things are getting better -- but for the love of thumb-tapping, Nintendo must make a mobile phone.

Games on phones are simple, but maybe that's all they need to be. People are happy playing Snake on their phone. Some of the games I've seen people buy and download on Verizon phones seem to satisfy the user greatly.
I think if you want a phone, you get a phone and you want a serious portable game player, you get a DS. There are few things like the iPhone that put together different devices well.[ Guru ] [ Level 21 ] [ Rank: 173 ]bids

I'm a huge gamer, and I enjoy the few games I have on my phone, but I can't see any cell phone ever being a profitable gaming machine as well. I just don't see the appeal, especially not after the debacle of the N-Gage, and especially when just about every cell phone except the iPhone is given away virtually for free.
