Don Mattrick, senior VP of Microsoft Interactive Entertainment, answers a number of questions in the interview, expressing his beliefs that "On a price-per-value basis, I think we win…relative to Sony and Nintendo”. RE: Don Mattrick Confident in Holiday WinI find it rather disappointing that he so dodges the 'how many years will xbox360 be kept' with justifications why the original Xbox was cut short and ending with a brief and very vague "it’s very probable that this will be a longer life cycle".
I'm very surprised MS doesn't make big promises on a X year lifecycle. Not only is it something I'd expect from marketing even if it wouldn't happen, but also it would increase both customer and developer confidence that it's a platform that's not going away.[ Oracle ] [ Level 20 ] [ Rank: 444 ]bids

I agree with you on the ps2. Very curious what will happen once the ps2 drops to 100$... that should be the ideal casual system if only marketed as it should.
