Publisher plans to boost revenues with new casual games portfolio.
Electronic Arts targets $6 billion in revenues by the end of the 2011 fiscal year, according to CEO John Riccitiello.
With revenues for this financial year expected to be around $3.5 billion, EA are expecting a growth of 70 per cent in three years.
"It's a big number. It's never been done in the game software industry before," said chief executive John Riccitiello to analysts at a meeting at EA's Californian headquarters.

Maybe, they must be expecting Nintendo DS and Wii owners to buy most of these new casual games they are making. EA has dropped in profitability for 3 years now, they needed to change output.
The target is also ahead of analyst target of $4.9 billion. EA are expecting $900 million revenue from digital distribution by that time.
