PS3s used to make a supercomputer

An astrophysicist at the University of Massachusetts took 16 PS3 and loaded them with linux. Using custom code he wrote, he run deep space simulations of black hole collisions. The networked PS3s are equivalent to 400 node supercomputer. Very cool stuff... shows the power of the cell.
