Sony has dropped details of a possible security breach in the PC PlayStation Store, whereby a "small percentage" of PSN user accounts could have been compromised. A consumer alert on PlayStation.com assures account owners their credit card numbers are likely safe, but their passwords might be changed and intruders could use the PS Store 'Wallet'. Sony claims that "system security is restored" and all potential victims are being directly contacted.
