Despite a flood of new releases over the week, Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G remained at the top of the Media Create Japanese software sales chart, and helped push the PSP hardware to another week of 100,000-plus sales.
Over the week of 3/31 to 4/6, Monster Hunter sold 488,208 units, bringing its two week total to 1,369,000. Capcom recently announced that the game has shipped 1.5 million units. We wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement of two million shipped shortly.
