According to a report from Nikkei Net, Nintendo will introduce a new iteration of the Nintendo DS later this year, featuring a built-in camera and music playback. The new version of the DS is also reported to have improved wireless functions. Pictures taken via the DS's internal camera can be used by games, opening up new gameplay options.

Oops, I hope Nintendo still call this new H/W DS, and lump it together with DS and DSL. Otherwise, the price of DS really, really going to take a nose dive.
It is a pity that I just purchased 2 DS this year (one for my son, another for my wife). Otherwise, I would be able to get the new version. I am not really interested with the music playback capabilities, but I am really, really interested with the camera, and Wireless changes.
