According Capcom's vice president of strategic planning and business development Christian Svensson, Sony's data indicates that approximately 50% of PS3 owners are also PSP owners. Problem is that you don't really have enough buttons for it to effectively take the place of a PS3 controller, and even then it would be a crappy controller. The analog couldn't be worse, for those who have never tried it before.
RPG and strategy games seem the best choice. Final Fantasy with the PSP functioning as your controller, the display could do various things but a mini map seems most useful, would be badass.
