@justcrim, I agree with you that Blu-Ray and the lower priced configuration may help the sales (the lower pricepoint will probably help more than the Blu-Ray).
I didn't mean that people will spread out their spending of any returned money - I meant that all people do not get their taxes done in February (some people wait until the last possible second sometimes). Couple this with the economy not having the greatest time and the fact that not everyone is going to buy electronics with any return money, and you end up with the tax returns having a very small or unnoticeable affect on console hardware sales - specially when focusing on just one console.
Off-topic: Someone keeps downbidding your comments, so I have been up-bidding them back to the normal 1 starting bid because while I do not find them upbid-able, I do not think they deserved to be downbidded as they raise a valid argument.
