It should be pointed out that Final Fantasy titles sell about 1/3 of their total in Japan. That means it's multiplatform for 2/3 of its market (possibly higher as other markets have grown since the alst releases).
The recovery of this stock price is irrational. I think there's the real possibility of seeing a GTA4-type split in sales among the two platforms and this could be the final straw that puts the PS2 JRPG fans solidly in the 360's corner. The 360 has a greater selection of RPGs that are exclusive and now has FF.
