What i meant to say before my coffee this morning is "the top line ipod" IS THE CURRENT ipod.
You can get older, unrefreshed models, but they are not actively marketed to the populace. As a fashion accessory the "top line" as in most expensive, but mainline in terms of marketing promotion.
Comparing an older Ipod model to a 40GB PS3 makes no sense. It is most certainly not apples to apples as apu implies. Clearly It might be more apt, apujanata, to compare an older Ipod to the PS2.
Seriously APU quit being a jerk and have a reasonable discussion for once.
Further adding to Apujanata's misguided troll, I referred to the 399$ pricepoint, so in fact I was comparing the 80GB PS3 to the "top line Ipod" by his definition.
