@PhilHarrision, It depend on how different WFP compared to WF.
If it is very different, then it will be treated as separate/new thing.
If it is just slight enhancement, it COULD be treated as same (like DS & DSL, or International version/Director's Cut version of Japanese games.) Personally, I believe that Nintendo are not going to release a radically different games for BB just 1.5 years (in US) after release of Wii Fit. Especially since Wii Fit is still in the sold-out status in US.
I am going to gamble on the long side of this stock, since the only time (AFAIK) Nintendo ever release a sequel when the previous version are still very, very well is Brain Age 2. Animal Crossing doesn't count since it is for different platform (DS & Wii).
