You do make a great point on Konami needing to recover te development costs of MGS4. However there are three points we should consider. (1) In Japan the PS3 is more popular than the XBOX360. Konami is a Japanese company and would probably like to stay with a Japanese built system. (2) By the time MGS4 hits the shelves the PS3 will have at least a $100 if not a $150 price cut. (3) There is no reason why Konami could not release a port to the XBOX360 a couple years after it debuts on the PS3.
