@jsmrekar I am not sure why you were voted down especially considering that right below your post a post of a similar nature that I made was voted up.
Even though I normally would not have I have voted your post up to compensate somewhat.
This got me to thinking. Will anyone share what criteria they use when deciding to vote a post or content submission up or done?
Personally I don't vote either way for most things. I vote particularly thoughtful, useful, or insightful posts up. I vote things I consider frivolous or inappropriate done. I base neither such votes on how the opinion expressed matches mine. Meaning I might give a positive vote to a well supported argument that I disagree with and a negative vote to a post insulting anyone who does not agree with an opinion I share with the poster.
Mostly I am curious though how everyone else out there votes.
