Yes it appears the prediction market was off on this one. I think people just lost interest in checking the stock after a while and it was delisted after no one was trading it, even though it didn't reflect sales.
This game appears to have sold around 1mil copies so far. But if you check VGChartz you can see that sales are staying pretty strong and steady especially in the US. Now with the Japan release date set for March 26, I think this game will soon be selling more than the 1.2mil the current price reflects. I think sales will stay strong for a longer time than most other games. VGC has 78k in Jan and 90k sold in Feb. in US alone. Basically, I strongly agree with what a few have been saying. I'd say maybe 180dkp or so, with a good chance of going higher.
People might start shorting this, but as zeromous and I have been saying, this will continue to sell at a solid rate for a long time, 1.19 million is well within its reach.
Bleezy you are so wrong... I have attempted several times to blow my own brains out after watching my 30 year old ex roommate, collect every damn character and lego-single (coin) in the damn game. He is excited to do it all over again on the Wii.
This is a game that 30 something parents can share with their 5 year old brat. This is a rare thing.
Not only will it exceed 2 million in America (but this will take time), it has yet to be released in Japan....now they're a little star wars and Wii nuts over there.
This is a long term buy opportunity and its not too late to get in on the action!
I really don't think starwars and lego go together well...no adult or person over 10 is going to want this lego starwars game over any mario game. I think there will be plenty of titles for wii in bargin bin when the time comes too....
