something's fishy... or not? I was reading this article on gamasutra and i checked the numbers there to those we have here and they're pretty much on the spot! I mean like WOOOW! (he gives 2.2M Xbox 360, 2M PS2, 1.8M Wii, 700k PS3) Could he be using thesimexchange or is it all pointing to one greater truth and it's just a case of different paths leading to the same results? Either way... cooool!!!
@alesul, does confirm my (and it seems everyone's) suspicion that the 360 version would be the best seller. Curious that the PS3 has more than the Wii; my anecdotal evidence lead me to believe the Wii version sold better. (Hour and a half of observation at Best Buy; one PS3, three Wii, seven 360. Take it as you will.) It's possible that, because of the network's setup, the Wii just has less online-minded players. Also, being a family console the Wii games were (IMO) more likely to be Christmas gifts.
Anyone else have observational data to add to the mix?
I think that this stock is still riding high on the Guitar Hero name, but after the NPD numbers come out for the first month of sales, this stock will probably fall like the Guitar Hero futures did.

Apparently, Brent Thill, who wrote the report for Citigroup, used Sim Exchange's data without mentioning so in the report.
We're updating the story to cite Sim Exchange, thanks for telling us - maybe you can call off any dogs that have been unleashed as a result!
Regards,
Simon.
