SOCOM: Combined Assault sold another 28,250 copies in February, totalling 469,500 copies in North America. This is half of what it sold in January.
I really wish there were more accurate European data. I think this could be a slight sell though. Current forecast of 773,000 copies sold seems a little out of reach.
SOCOM: Combined Assault is now at 441,260 copies sold in North America. It sold another 55,250 copies in January, which is sharply lower than the 203,250 sold in December (I guess revised numbers). I think with the continued momentum of the PS2, this stock could be on target.
SOCOM: Combined Assault sold another 201,000 copies in December putting it at 380,000 total in North America.
I think this new data means the game will do better than monkspider was predicting with 400k-500k copies but probably not that much better. I think we can revise estimates to 550k-700k for lifetime sales. The PS2 is proving to still be popular so I think there's a good chance sales could continue for the first half of '07.
SOCOM: Combined Assault sales were 179,000 copies in November according to VGCharts.org.
The first SOCOM did about that but then picked up from word-of-mouth. Compare this to SOCOM II's 435,000 in the first month (Nov 03) and SOCOM III's 437,000 in its first month (Oct 05), it looks like interest in the PS2 SOCOMs has waned.
