@G-Bleezy, i am pretty sure Civilation games in general are much more difficult than Monopoly. Having said that, I don't have have enough money remaining to short this stock.
Maybe someone else agree with G-Bleezy, and have spare money to short it ?
This game is way over priced. Will be lucky to sell 500k. If you've played the demo, you'll realize that this game will only attract Civ fans. I myself am a civ fan, i liked the game. But even for me, the games are too long, sitting there waiting on 5 people to make their moves...there will barely be 500,000 people that will take the time with this game. And the graphics too are only enough to attract Civ fans. The graphics are for a kiddie game, however the actual gameplay is for fans of Civilization type turn based strategy, no little kiddie will be ale to play this and have fun.
I think this would be a good game to play on a day you would normally play monopoly on. Won't sell 300,000...
The month of July was more hotly contested than what's typical for the late-summer month. With games like Unreal Tournament III, NCAA Football 09, and Soulcalibur IV hitting the shelves, it took the talents of Sid Meier to rise above the pack with Civilization Revolution. Pick one of 16 civilizations and evolve your way to world domination.

With 16 civilizations and two single-player modes, you’ll be an expert by the time you hook up with friends online. With a strong community behind it, Civ Rev on the Internets will be truly great.
As expected, the demos of Civilization Revolution and Battlefield: Bad Company are now available for download from Xbox Live. This reverses a recent trend for games to have no demo at all, or for it to be released after the game itself.
Meier took the opportunity to thank the critics for their recognition over the years and to plug Civ Revolution in his statement. Speaking of which, buried at the bottom of the press release was the news that Civ Revolution has been delayed until July 8 from its expected June 3 release. Perhaps the delay will allow Meier some time to figure out where he'll store all the Revolution awards?
Civilization has always been about stupendously long games and a relatively steep learning curve that proved too much for some hyperactive gamers to climb. Civilization Revolution is exactly that, a revolution against the former ways of the series and a certain recognition that things work a little differently in the lucrative world of console gaming.
"Meier and his team at Firaxis are hard at work on Civilization Revolution, a faster-paced turn-based console version of the classic Civilization series for computers..."
