@Joe80,Does SSFIV have content that is not available to SFIV in the form of DLC? If it does I'd consider it a seperate product. If all the content of SSFIV is available as DLC to SFIV then it should be counted as the same game imo.
Capcom’s Street Fighter IV has become the fastest-selling fighting game in the UK since records began in 1997, and the top-selling number one of 2009 so far. The company said yesterday that worldwide shipments have already reached 2 million units, and the game topped both the individual and all platforms charts in the UK.
Both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of their latest fighting masterpiece will be coming to North America on Tuesday, February 17th, with our friends over in the more European side of the globe receiving it three days later on Friday the 20th.
Capcom have confirmed that Cammy will make a return to Street Fighter IV, as the classic character headed up an online poll aimed at fans.
"As you know, we allowed people to vote on which character they most wanted to see in the console version, and Cammy won, so she's definitely in the game," stated producer Yoshinori Ono.
Capcom today released their sales projections for Street Fighter IV along with other games and their Q1 fiscal year financial results.
The sales expectations for the three versions of the game combined are 1.7 million units, more than 50% lower than current SimExchange valuation.
Countdown running on offical Street Fighter Website, ending first June. I could imagine that this will be the offical announcement after their confirmation of a multiplatform release.
