It appears Smackdown! vs RAW 2007 is indeed selling pretty well in Europe. Though VGcharts has the PS2 version shipping 2.01 million copies so far.
Now I'm not saying Deltaneutral's calculations are wrong...because VGCharts also has only 1.12 million copies shipped for North America. I don't know if they just haven't updated that or they adjusted their numbers lower after NPD came out or what.
The PS2 version of Smackdown! vs RAW 2007 looks undervalued.
VGcharts has total sales at 1,392,750 copies through February (with just 12,750 copies sold in February). If we double those sales for the total, assuming a 1:1 sales ratio in Europe, this game is at 2.8 million copies sold.
Pro wrestling games continuously sell well (I don't really get it but that's what happens). I would still say the PS2 is not obsolete because most PS2 players have not upgraded to a PS3 (I would say 99% haven't upgraded) so the PS2 is still their platform of choice. The best selling game of the holidays was Final Fantasy XII which came out for PS2 in late October.
SimExchange determines the price of a stock by "...the anticipated total number of copies a game will sell worldwide. Each 1 DKP of stock price translates into 10,000 copies sold. For example, a 100 DKP stock price would imply the game will sell 1.0 million copies in its lifetime. An 80 DKP stock price would imply the game will sell 0.8 million copies in its lifetime. This way, a game stock becomes a predictor of a game's popularity over its lifetime."
Ok I get this. Its clearly put and easy to understand. What I don't get though is how the price per share of Smackdown 2007 is 200dkp. The 06 version sold 1,002,500 units in its lifetime for a console which wasn't obsolete (opinion).
Do we really expect this game to sell 2 million copies?
The 2006 version only sold a little over 1million in the states (for a current system, which the ps2 isn't anymore) and as of now the sales are at 398k. why is this priced so high? It should be falling as we speak.

Either way, this stock is undervalued.
